Integration of VBA Extractor tool

  • ByteInsight now automatically analyzes Microsoft Access database files (.mdb and .accdb). In the past, Access files could only be measured by size due to their binary format. With this update, ByteInsight extracts and analyzes embedded VBA code to deliver deeper insights such as line counts and complexity assessments, giving you a clearer picture of the true modernization effort.

  • Previously, scanned Access files showed 0 lines of code. ByteInsight now displays the extracted file count and extensions, along with their metrics, as VB6 technology.

Fixed Bugs

  • VB6 pricing is now displayed only for licenses under 200K LOC.

  • C# automation coverage is now displayed only when coverage is 60% or higher.
